Harpreet Sareen is an interaction designer and researcher whose material and technological interventions develops practices that hybridize organic materials, living organisms, and technologies to reveal agency beyond anthropocentric frameworks.

Isabel Arciniegas Guaneme is an interactive designer and Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at the New School for Social Research. Her research examines how the concept of peace is being articulated in Colombia when it is extended to nonhuman beings.

J. Mae Barizo is a poet, essayist, and transdisciplinary artist who works at the intersection of poetics, media, and performance. An Assistant Professor of Writing at the New School for Social Research, she chairs the undergraduate creative writing program.

Julia Ballester is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the New School for Social Research whose research examines questions of capitalism, economic reform, the politics of the family, affect theory, and the dynamics of gender in late-twentieth-century Latin America.

Katherine Wolkoff is a photographer and Associate Professor of Photography at Parsons School of Design whose work explores absence, crisis, and the unseen in the natural world.

Khalil Habrih is a postdoctoral researcher in Anthropology and Design at the New School for Social Research and the Parsons School of Design Strategies whose current research examines representations of scabies, and other dermatological diseases, in the French colonial and medical archive.

Paul A. Kottman is Professor of Comparative Literature, Chair of the Committee on Liberal Studies, and co-chair of the Institute for Philosophy and the New Humanities at The New School for Social Research and Eugene Lang College. He is the author of Hegel, Shakespeare, Modernity; Love as Human Freedom; and various other books and essays.

Ramon L. C. de Haan is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at the New School for Social Research whose dissertation project is focused on Black activists working towards repair and reparations for slavery and colonialism in Curaçao and Suriname.

Romy Opperman is a feminist philosopher and Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the New School for Social Research whose work bridges critical philosophy of race, environmental philosophy, and critical theory to understand ecological violence and envision liberated climate futures.

Runjie Ou is a PhD candidate in Politics at the New School for Social Research whose research examines nationalism and the politics of humiliation in 20th century China, with a focus on the discourse of “national humiliation” in the late Qing and Republican periods.
