Jen Roy

Jen Roy, a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at The New School for Social Research, is the 2024-25 GIDEST Program Assistant.

 

Jen Roy is a Ph.D. candidate in Anthropology at The New School for Social Research. She is currently writing her dissertation, which explores public health interventions in Rio de Janeiro. Her research focuses on the collaborative partnership between Brazil’s preeminent institution for the study and administration of scientific and technological knowledge, Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, and the grassroots, community-centered civil society organization Redes da Maré.

She is the 2024-25 GIDEST Program Assistant.
