Kari Fuentes-Quinteros

Kari is a storyteller, writer, artist, and researcher. She is serving as the 2023-24 GIDEST Program Assistant.

Kari is a Chilean storyteller, writer, artist, and researcher. Her ongoing research projects and collaborations explore the power of the creative process, delving into narratives of memory, compassion, intimacy, and identity. This interest was sparked when her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2014, prompting Kari to become involved in social-changing projects and to contribute alongside communities, empowering people and fostering their participation in owning their stories, memories, and contexts. Her superpower is systems design, enabling her to situate innovation in complex social contexts.

She is serving as the 2023-24 GIDEST Program Assistant.
